Snapchat Users Get Surprise Curated Snaps for World Cup Final

Snapchat users received a surprise collection of curated Snaps from Brazil on Sunday, which reveal a glimpse at what it's like to be in the country for the World Cup final.


In the hours leading up to the match between Argentina and Germany, Snapchat users began to receive a stream of photos that showed how people were enjoying their time before the final.



After the game started at 3 p.m. ET, more Snaps were added to the "Our Story" collection, and were pushed out by an account called "Rio Live."


Snapchatters are being encouraged to send their photos and videos to "Rio Live," an account that now appears automatically under contacts for all users. While the company didn't promote the "Rio Live" account beforehand, users caught on quickly, a spokesperson told Mashable. Read more...
